Origin, Northeastern’s deep-tech hub, fosters a community of graduate and undergraduate students interested in launching deep-tech ventures. Origin’s definition of deep-tech is technology being used in emerging markets or for innovative developments.  

Origin has a prototype and alpha fund that give zero-equity grants to undergraduate and graduate students pursing or interesting in working on research, prototypes, and ventures. We will be hosting a mentor night to guide students who are interested in applying for these funds. The event will be in Egan 440 on October 2nd from 7-8PM.
