ASPIRE is aimed at connecting students with our industry and government members for possible jobs, internships, and co-ops opportunities. The day kicks off with presentations from invited industry and government representatives. After the presentations, students meet with the representatives in one-on-one sessions that are arranged by us. The one-on-one meetings gives an opportunity for students to learn more about the opportunities offered within the companies. We also allot time during the event for networking opportunities as well. The companies that will be attending ASPIRE are Rapiscan, Smith’s Detection, and Raytheon. Department of Homeland Security representatives will also be in attendance.
