The MGGG Redistricting Lab at Tufts University is accepting applications for students interested in partnering with us through the summer with Google Summer of Code. Accepted students will receive a stipend from Google and will be paired with mentors at MGGG to help facilitate coding projects that will run through the summer. MGGG is a is a Boston-based working group led by Moon Duchin of Tufts University. Our mission is to study applications of geometry and computing to U.S. redistricting. We believe that gerrymandering of all kinds is a fundamental threat to our democracy. If you are interested in coding and civic engagement, please see the attached flyer for more information and feel free to reach out to us directly at mggg.gsoc@gmail.com
