Hack/ED (bostonhack-ed.com) is a medical hackathon that focuses specifically on emergent medical care with an emphasis on rapid prototyping and social determinants of health. Our first annual hackathon will take place October 19-20 being held at the Boston University Epic and Build labs. The registration is open to all students regardless of major, is free, and food, mentorship, and prizes are provided throughout the duration of the event. The organizers of hack/ED think this will be an amazing way to spur innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration amongst students, and hopefully create some excellent solutions that can lead to longitudinal projects!
