New Combined Majors

CCIS is proud to announce that we have introduced five new combined majors for Fall 2018.

BS in Cybersecurity and Business Administration

The Cybersecurity and Business combined major delivers a technical and security-focused degree with a strong grounding in business. You’ll complete most of the requirements of a business major, including macroeconomics and microeconomics, while also focusing on the conceptual and practical skills that will enable you to contribute to ensuring the reliability and security of cyberspace.

BS in Data Science and Health Science

The Health and Data Science combined major delivers a technical degree with a strong grounding the the health sciences. You’ll complete most of the requirements of a health science major, including biology, chemistry, and public health courses, while also focusing on the collection, manipulation, storage, retrieval, and computational analysis of data in its various forms.

BS in Data Science and Biochemistry

The Data Science and Biochemistry Major combines computer science, biochemistry, biology, information science, mathematics, and statistics into an integrated curriculum. The program engages students in rigorous course work designed to prepare students to interpret the ever-expanding knowledge base.

BS in Cybersecurity and Criminal Justice

The cybersecurity and criminal justice combined degree applies a multidisciplinary approach to ensuring the reliability and security of cyberspace. The program will provide students with a strong programming foundation coupled with academic and experiential knowledge of the criminal justice system. Students learn how social behavior, policy, and legal rules can affect cybersecurity and utilize comparative social science to understand, predict, and explain crime.

BS in Cybersecurity and Economics

The cybersecurity and economics combined degree applies a multidisciplinary approach integrating fundamental economics courses with a strong programming foundation. Students will study both the behavior of individuals and the collective behavior of industries and governments, utilizing computing skills to ensure the reliability and security of cyberspace.
