MLT’s Career Prep Program

We would like to invite Black, Hispanic, and Native American sophomores to consider applying  to the Career Prep program run by Management Leadership for Tomorrow, a highly prestigious and well respected mentorship program launched by John Rice. MLT has a strong track record of working with undergrads who come from underrepresented minority groups and helping to change the trajectory of their career and their lives.

MLT’s Career Prep

MLT’s Career Prep Program is a career accelerator into high-trajectory internships and full-time jobs with MLT corporate partners Google, Facebook, Amazon, LinkedIn, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Bain, Disney, Pepsi, P&G, etc.

We will select ~400 Black, Hispanic, and Native American students for an 18-month intensive career program – matched with a personal MLT coach to train them on the professional playbook for career success. Through monthly assignments, in-person seminars, and webinars, MLT will connect participants to the professional network and high-trajectory opportunities that put them on the track to senior leadership.

They will join an incomparable class of amazing students from across the country and will become members of a super connected MLT community of 7,000 that are rising into senior leadership roles at the top companies and exciting startups in product management, venture capital, private equity, management consulting, finance and entrepreneurship.

Software Engineer Track

This year, MLT has created a special track within Career Prep for software engineers/CS majors which includes MLT’s Silicon Valley Tech Trek, April 11-13, 2019,  and dedicated SWE sessions throughout the 18-month program.

MLT has partnered with CodePath.org, which delivers online and on-campus courses that complement a university’s Computer Science (CS) curriculum by teaching the technical fundamentals and tools used at the nation’s top tech companies. If you’re not familiar with CodePath, I welcome the opportunity to introduce you to them and to explore how together, we can help your URM students.
